The successful candidate will: (Role & Responsibilities)
Lead Implementation Consultant guides clients and mentors more junior associates on delivering solutions for clients. With a high degree of autonomy, addresses client concerns by planning, developing, and executing solutions which implement various investment management platforms.These may include investment accounting, data management and performance calculations. Assigned to consulting problems of moderate complexity or scope/breadth. Works with counterparts from Product Management, R&D, and Support teams to navigate product challenges, and provide input to product direction.
Lead Implementation Consultants are experienced leaders in their respective domain, while versatile to adapt to client circumstances and business practices. They are responsible for helping guide the client and their teammates toward configurations and usage patterns that combine best practices, industry conventions and the business needs of the client.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Ideal candidate has the following attributes:
- 7+ years of experience working in the financial services industry in a similar business, technology or operational role. Familiar with front, middle and back office processes.
- Ability to integrate with and contribute to project management methodologies.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility with clients through dialogue that demonstrates experience and collaboration.
- Demonstrated record of addressing complex business challenges through efficient technology solutions in a team setting.
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, reporting tools, and programming languages is a plus.
- Investment Accounting certification and/or implementation experience preferred.
- Analytical and Troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of Investment/Fund accounting/reporting preferred (Ledger entries, accounting Journal, trial balance, NAV calculation).
- Strong communications skills, works well within a team environment, garners and effectively communicates viable solutions.
